Hestia Games: Quiet Games With No Ads

Hestia Games is a growing shelf of quiet games for phones and computers, with no ads and nothing designed to keep you playing. Seven are free to play now, and a membership with nine more is opening soon.

Why We Made It

Many games on phones are built to hold attention rather than to be enjoyed: ads between rounds, timers that pull you back, and rewards that expire if you look away. Hestia Games is built the other way around. Each game can be picked up for a few minutes and put down again, and nothing in it is designed to keep you playing longer than you meant to.

What You Can Play

Seven games are free for everyone today, with no account: Sudoku, Solitaire, Mahjong, Blocks, Checkers, Mancala, and Chess. Membership, opening soon, adds nine more, including Charlie’s Diner, a restaurant game starring Charlie the dachshund, alongside picture logic, jigsaw, word, and board games.

How Membership Will Work

Membership will be $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year, and it can be cancelled at any time with one click from your account page. If you cancel, you keep every release from the months you paid for. New games and updates will arrive as monthly releases. We will announce here when membership opens.

What Comes Next

Hestia Games plays in the browser today. We plan to bring it to the major app stores as well, and the shelf will keep growing.
